It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful setting for a wedding, especially if you’re a Marylander, born and bred, than the Chesapeake Bay at sunset.  Cortney & Hans, a couple so beautifully in love with one another in a way that can make others envious, became husband and wife on a crystal clear autumn day on a sprawling estate overlooking the Chesapeake.  Cortney looked nothing less than timeless in her stunning Vera Wang gown and simple chignon, and Hans wore his tux in perfect compliment to that dashing smile of his.

We found ourselves dancing along to the music with the guests, laughing as the bride and groom played a post-nuptial game of horseshoes in the sand along the water, and gazing as the bride shared a touching dance with her father.  It was a magical night that swept us up along with it and we were honored to capture it.
