An Officer and his wife

Mike and Anna, a humble Naval officer and sweet-as-pie teacher, celebrated their marriage on a gorgeous spring day at the stunning Naval Academy chapel.  Flanked by a striking wedding party made up of friends and fellow Naval officers, the couple kissed “I do” under the sunlit dome and exited the chapel under the swords of the groomsmen, much to the delight of wedding guests and passersby alike.

We all made our merry way to the Admiral’s grounds for formal portraits where the bridal party cut up a bit on the perfectly manicured lawn and gardens.

A historic trolley carried the wedding party to Quiet Waters park where everyone mingled and enjoyed appetizers on the grounds.

During dinner, the groomsmen treated Anna and Mike to a rendition of “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feeling” by the Righteous Brothers, a hilarious homage to the classic bar scene from “Top Gun”.  Aviators and all.  We had just as much fun as the guests did and the love between Anna and Mike was palpable.  Congratulations to the lovebirds!

A little surprise for her husband-to-be

All we can say is, this bride has awesome bridesmaids and one VERY lucky husband-to-be!  Armed with a bottle of champagne and a mini bottle of Fireball, we met our bride in a very swanky hotel outside of Washington D.C. where her bridesmaids had a full arrangement of lingerie and a cooler full of treats for the lady of the hour.  Once “J” shook off her nerves, she WORKED the camera and the proof is in the pudding!  She is giving these pictures to her lucky hubby in a book right before the wedding… oh, to be young and in love!
